Charleston & Jazz Dance Classes

Ever wanted to learn to dance The Charleston from the 1920s? On Tuesdays at Jazzbourne you can learn authentic dances from the jazz age. Fun & inspiring dance classes for adults taught by Sharon Davis.

There are three levels to choose from, starting with absolute beginners at 7pm. Walk-ins are very welcome. You will learn authentic dance steps from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, like The Charleston, Suzie Q, Tabby the Cat, Shorty George, Camel Walk and so many more.

The classes are taught by Sharon Davis – a world renowned swing & jazz dancer with over 20 years experience.

You can pre-book the class online or pay at the door (card/contactless only, no cash accepted).

Evening Schedule:

6.30pm Doors open for class registrations
7.00pm Level 1 Class (Fundamentals)
8.00pm Level 1.5 Class (Skills & Technique)
9.00pm Level 2 Class (Choreography)

Prices:

Booking is not essential, walk-ins are very welcome.

Walk-in prices: £15 at the door (or take 2 classes that night for £25, or 3 classes that night for £30)

Online bookings: £15 per class*

If you enjoy the classes and decide to attend regularly, you can buy pre-paid packages of class credits through our Members Booking area to get a great discount (4 classes for £50 or 10 classes for £100).

*Classes booked on EventBrite may have an additional booking fee.
