Live Jazz: Amanda Lee Swingtet

Come enjoy some live music at Jazzbourne, celebrating the genius of jazz piano legends Fats Waller and Duke Ellington. Featuring the marvellous Joel Prime (drums) and Darren McCarthy (Bass).

The first set of the evening will be fully seated as Amanda takes us on a journey through the work of Fats and Duke. The dancefloor will be opened up for the second half of the evening for anyone who cares to trip the light fantastic to Amanda’s swinging tunes. The bar will be open throughout.

About Amanda

Known for her unbridled joy and relentless swing, Singaporean jazz pianist Amanda Lee has made her mark in recent years as a torchbearer of the swing and stride piano styles of 1930/40s jazz. Amanda trained in Kansas City and was mentored by leading swing and stride pianist Bram Wijnands. Amanda is a rare gem in her generation, seeking to embody the roots and spirit of the earlier jazz traditions, bringing this music to wider audiences.

What is the Cancellation Policy? All bookings are non-refundable.If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the event, we can give you a credit to use for a future booking. Or if you wish to pass your booking or credit on to another person, that is fine with us. No-shows and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded and no credit given. This is because our events have limited capacity and we will probably have turned away other people for the place you booked. Thank you for understanding.
