Swing Dance Class for Beginners

Every week at Jazzbourne we have an evening dedicated to the original swing dance – the Lindy Hop from the 1930s and 40s. Join the drop-in class for beginners from 7pm-8pm, taught by Sharon Davis – a world renowned swing dancer with over 20 years experience. Afterwards stick around to practice what you learned (or just have a drink with your fellow students!) at our friendly swing social. Expect a fun and relaxed atmosphere in a groovy speakeasy-style location. Walk-ins are very welcome for the class, or you can pre-book your class online.

About the Class

This is a Lindy Hop lesson for adult beginners. You will learn how to Lindy Hop from scratch with award-winning swing dancer Sharon Davis. Lindy Hop is the original swing dance from the 1930s and 40s – it’s the happiest dance on earth! This is a 1-hour beginner level dance class, zero experience needed. You don’t need to bring a partner because we will rotate partners in class, so you will dance with lots of people. It’s a great way to make friends.

This is a drop-in class, not a course, so these classes can be taken in any order. Start any time and drop in whenever you want. It doesn’t matter if you miss a week or attend irregularly. Walk-ins are very welcome.

Class Price
