Vintage Tea Dance: Jimmy Wise X Jazzbourne
Calling all swing dancers & vintage enthusiasts! Photographer Jimmy Wise invites you to a swingin' Sunday tea dance at Jazzbourne, where he will be taking photos as part of his master’s degree project. Don your best vintage attire and come down for a Sunday afternoon dance sesh, be part of the project and maybe get some snazzy photos for your social media!

About Jimmy’s Project
Jimmy is a professional photographer for the Royal Air Force and he is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in photography. We asked Jimmy to tell us a little about his master’s degree project: “The purpose of this photographic project is to explore the London Swing Dance community, specifically Lindy Hop dancers, what their motivations are, and the connections they make, both literally and figuratively, examining the social, historical and cultural origins of Lindy Hop and how it manifests in a modern society. I would like to bring together social dancers for this tea dance to capture unscripted social interactions, portraits and choreographed shoots, whilst also having a good time and enjoying the great music and venue at Jazzbourne.”
