Evening Schedule

6.30pm Doors open for class registrations
7pm to 8pm Beginners Lindy Hop class (book online or pay at the door)
8pm to 11pm Swing social (free entry, no booking needed)

About the Class

The evening begins with an adult Lindy Hop lesson for beginners. Learn how to Lindy Hop from scratch with award-winning swing dancer Sharon Davis. Lindy Hop is the original swing dance from the 1930s and 40s – it’s the happiest dance on earth! This is a 1-hour beginner level dance class, no experience needed. You don’t need to bring a partner because we will rotate partners in class, so you will dance with lots of people. It’s a great way to make friends. This is a drop-in class, not a course, so these classes can be taken in any order. Start any time and drop in to these classes whenever you want. It doesn’t matter if you miss a week or attend irregularly. Walk-ins are very welcome.

About the Social

Expect a fun and relaxed atmosphere in a groovy speakeasy-style bar. Come to try swing dancing for the first time, to practice what you know, social dance, check it out or just have a drink & chat! The class is for beginners, but the social afterwards is for all levels and non-dancers are very welcome too.

Prices

If you only come for the social after class, it is free! No booking needed.

The class costs £15 at the door or if you book a single class*

If you enjoy the class and decide to attend regularly, you can buy pre-paid packages of class credits through our Members Booking area to get a great discount (4 classes for £50 or 10 classes for £100).

*Classes booked on EventBrite may have an additional booking fee.
