Creative space & ethical bar in South London, for theatre, cabaret, dance, music, film, art and more.

About the venue

Jazzbourne is an intimate basement space in vibrant New Cross – Deptford, in Southeast London. Formerly known as The London Theatre, the space has been lovingly upgraded and given a new name to welcome in the Roaring Twenties. Seating up to 45 for live performance, it is one of London’s smallest performance spaces. Our sprung  dance floor, red velvet curtains, cabaret tables and piano are ready to welcome all things creative – live performance and music, films & screenings, talks, rehearsals, classes, workshops and events.

Jazzbourne is an independent not-for-profit venue. Though we be but little, we try to make socially & environmentally responsible choices. We are aiming to be London’s most ethical and sustainable small venue. You can read more about the ways we are trying to be a force for good.

Our bar menu showcases only big-hearted brands that are trying to make the world a better place. Let us introduce you to delicious tipples that also happen to be environmentally friendly, support a worthy cause or give back to the community… or all of the above. Slaking your thirst never felt so good!  You can check out our full bar menu and read all about our amazing brands here.
